For
today’s blog I will discuss another Maybelline product that caught my attention
during my grocery errand. They have a
few products inside the grocery now and it is a good strategy on my opinion
since mothers like me don’t have that luxury time to roam around the department
store and try out new make-up products.
Or it is just me busy being a mother as well during weekends.
Going
back to the product, I was just having a hard time to choose a color since
there are no testers and you will just rely my instincts what will be color of
the lipstick will be. I was looking for
a purple side and I saw the name plus the lining on the container and I assumed
it was a purple lipstick.

The container of the
lipstick is simple, black plastic with a color with a strip of color in the
middle of the tube. From the researched,
the strip of color is where the family tree (reds, pinks, nudes and
plums). You also have to twist it to get
the product.
I tried first
the Plum-Tastic and I really like it on my face. Of course my daily routine is to put first
lip balm on my lips before adding my favorite lipstick! The product is very smooth in my lips and
also pigmented. For these past few
months, I enjoyed switching it with my Happy Skin Lipstick for my everyday use
at the office.
Of course,
even if the color is too intense I still choose to wear it and just carry it
with confidence. When eating I just
chose to remove it since I don’t want to eat the lipstick and will just put
again after.
Both lipstick
is now included in my make-up kit since I like to switch most of the time and I
guess I have at least 4 lippies inside (so might right?) It is just me.
The price is
very much affordable and now competitive on all local products here in the
Philippines. You will really think twice
to just buy the imported products rather than the local since the price is just
the same or a little expensive.
Aside from
being smooth when putting on the lips, the smell is fruity and tolerable. Long-wearing as well, down side it is
transferable if I drink water it transfer in the cup/glass. Overall, it keeps my lips moisturized and
slightly sheen on the lips as well.
This is 2
thumbs up for me if you want a nice everyday lipstick. Not very expensive and just put it on your
bag. I might purchase again new colors
to try and I will give you an update as well.
