Perfect Palette Tag

This tag was very viral last December 2013 and I want to join in to give my own list.

I really don’t have that lot of palettes in my collection but still determined to do this anyway.  SO… I’m tagging all of you guys who passed by my blog and shared your own perfect palette tag. J
1.     Best Packaging – Urban Decay Naked 2

This is one of a kind packaging I have ever seen here, actually this brand is not yet here in the Philippines but you can buy it from any freelance beauty stores who carries Urban Decay products.  The casing is pretty sturdy, I’m sure that the palette will be secured meaning you will not doubt the eye shadows will crack.  Then the design is simple but damn classy.  When you open it, huge mirror inside and it also includes duo eye brushes.

2.     Best Color Payoff – Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Comfort Zone

The shadows are really soft and opaque.  It’s so pigmented that you have to be careful in getting the product, it tends to be chalky so need to work around it if you know what I mean.  The colors are so vibrant, I very much like it.  For the price, it’s amazing!  The palette is worth buying for the color payoff.

3.     Most Versatile – Dollface Cosmetics 88 Matte Eyeshadow Palette

This is one of the palettes I really admire because of the color payoff and the wide range of shades.  Most of the colors you need for any look, right?  What more do I have to say?

4.      Best for Traveling – NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette The Runaway Collection Champagne & Caviar and NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette For Your Eyes Only Smokey Eyes

Travelling for me is easy to pack and convenient to bring at the same time.  The palettes for me are the best for day or night look.  It’s very compact, the color range can be day look to night look since most of the shade are browns, grey and black which for me very basic colors and safest to pair it to any of your clothes. In short, it can create numerous looks in just one palette.  One advice, always wear eye primer and cream eyeshadow under for better color payoff.

5.     Biggest Regret – Prestige Cosmetics Color-At-A Glance Eye Shadow Palette

I just bought this since it was on sale that time, no advance reading for reviews or anything.  Since then I haven’t touched it as you can see there's still plastic.  I’m thinking right now to check the quality, who knows it might be in my 2014 favorites?

6.     Best Color Names – Urban Decay Naked

I really fell in love with this palette! I enjoyed the colors and I really got amused with all of my Urban Decay palettes collection since every color has its own name.  Most of the Philippine Cosmetic brands don't have any shade names only the whole palette that is why I was so charmed with Urban Decay.

7.     Least Used – Smashbox Muse Artist Eye Palette

I purchased this online and at first I was so in love with the packaging, the colors are not that hard to pull off.  I don't know why I have not used this as much as I wanted to buy it.  The eyeshadows are not that pigmented, for the work around of course we just need an eye primer as well.  I will try again this year to use it and let's see if this will not be the leased use again for 2014.

8.     Most Used, Most Loved and Desert Island – Victoria Secret Make Me Dazzle Makeup Kit

I fell in love with this palette last Christmas, it was given by my brother as birthday present.  All you need in one palette, so much eyeshadow shades to choose from, blushes and lip colors.  What more can I ask for?  I will definitely try and check out the product, I've been thinking if I will have a separate review just let me know if there is anyone interested.

There you have it, my perfect palette tag for 2013. I hope you enjoyed reading until next blog.

Thank you and see you soon. 

2013 Makeup Hauls!

Hi Everyone! :)

As promised last blog, I'm going to show to you my 2013 Makeup Hauls!  This includes my last quarter purchases and what I got for Christmas ~ Beauty-related items.  Lets start!

Sharing with you what I purchased last October 5, 2013 during the Shoppers Avenue Beauty Fair 2013 at Il Terrazzo in Quezon City.  I'm with my doll friends that are also inclined with makeup.  It was so fun since all make up lovers are there!  You can see their eyes sparkling like diamonds everytime they see those tons and tons of makeup brushes and palettes.

What I got from the Beauty Fair are as follows:  ELF HD Blush in Encore, NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (from MakeupHOLICS), Duo Eyelash Adhesive and Beauty Blender (from Beauty Lane).  I forgot to list down the prices, I'm so sorry.  Next time I will be diligent enough to write it for you guys.

December came... I envy my doll friends for buying the 12pc Brush Set from Beauty Cosmetic from the Beauty Fair.  So, I purchased one and I got the purple, it was totally an awesome feeling!  The price you won't believe it, only Php900 for the whole set.  The bristles are so soft and the quality is very good, let me know if you want an in-depth review of the brushes and surely it will be a pleasure of mine.

Christmas is one of the holidays that I love because besides from gift-giving is the spirit of family togetherness.  Enough of mushy stuff and I'm going to share what I got for Christmas only related with makeup.  I will not mention names, you know who you are and from the bottom of my heart--- THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!  Love love it, it makes me feel extra special in your heart.  As promised, I'm going to collect gifts for you guys also and going to post it, so stay tuned.

Straight from the USA, my bother gave me a hell of a makeup kit! Victoria Secret The Make Me Dazzle Makeup Kit.  As you can see there are 64 eyeshadow colors, 8 lipcolors, 3 blush colors and 3 bronzer colors.

I also got this amazing eye palette, Victoria Secret Sexy New Year Eye Kit.  There are 10 eyeshadow colors and good for holiday looks,  dark colors are very nice for smokey-eye effect.  The palette also includes black eyeliner.

I received from my officemates, lippies!  Victoria Secret Shine Lip Gloss in Rosy Darling and Maybelline Color Sensational in Peachy Scene.  Both are in the pink shade, they know me well! I wear most of the time pink shades in the workplace and I supposed they like it.  I get lots of comments about pink color.

Last purchase of the year was on Christmas day, because I used up my entire makeup remover and so I bought my favorite one.  It's from Etude House, the Mascara Remover.  Then I saw this purple eyeliner with tiny bits of glitters on it and when I tried it on the color pay-off was so nice and gives more emphasis to my brown eyes.  I definitely bought it too! (Shame on me, I know!)  Then I saw the Maybelline counter, they are having up to 50% off on all items.  It was no doubt that I love their products, specially the mineral powder foundation that I have to stock up since my current powder already hit pan.

Then they have this new packaging for the product, metallic pink and they changed also the name to Super Mineral 24 Health Long Lasting Two-way Foundation.  I picked up the casing since mine is already broke and also got the same shade before OC1.

And that's about it.  I hope you enjoyed my 2013 makeup hauls because I did!  Next blog, the new tag circulating YouTube and I want to join and share what are my Perfect Palettes.

If you have any request, like doing some review of the above items, just leave comments below and I will gladly organize a write up.

Thank you once again, please subscribe in my blog website.  I want to know you fab people who have the same passion as I do. :)

See you on my next blog.

Project Hit Pan

Happy New Year to all!

I have been absent for almost 4 months, sorry for that... Those were tough months for me. To jumpstart the new year, next on my blog idea list is to share with you guys one of my 2013 resolution - to make sure I use up all the selected items on my make-up bag before purchasing new ones. As a certified make up junkie, there was an occasion wherein I'm looking over my cosmetic collections that were too much and most of them still not used, I crossed on a video while watching a YouTube Beauty Guru (maricarljanah) about Project 10 Pan. This is to identify products and the objective is to use up or hitting the pan. As for me, all the everyday make-up items I place inside my pouch (You may check out my last blog about my "What's inside my make-up bag"). I have been doing this since last year and carryover this year. I'm going to share to you guys my success stories:

My next post will be my beauty hauls last year - my purchases and gifts from my friends and family.  YES! I'm still buying a little and I'm going to share it with you so don't forget to visit again my blog site.

Thank you so much for the time and effort!

See you again. :)
