Perfect Palette Tag

This tag was very viral last December 2013 and I want to join in to give my own list.

I really don’t have that lot of palettes in my collection but still determined to do this anyway.  SO… I’m tagging all of you guys who passed by my blog and shared your own perfect palette tag. J
1.     Best Packaging – Urban Decay Naked 2

This is one of a kind packaging I have ever seen here, actually this brand is not yet here in the Philippines but you can buy it from any freelance beauty stores who carries Urban Decay products.  The casing is pretty sturdy, I’m sure that the palette will be secured meaning you will not doubt the eye shadows will crack.  Then the design is simple but damn classy.  When you open it, huge mirror inside and it also includes duo eye brushes.

2.     Best Color Payoff – Wet n Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Comfort Zone

The shadows are really soft and opaque.  It’s so pigmented that you have to be careful in getting the product, it tends to be chalky so need to work around it if you know what I mean.  The colors are so vibrant, I very much like it.  For the price, it’s amazing!  The palette is worth buying for the color payoff.

3.     Most Versatile – Dollface Cosmetics 88 Matte Eyeshadow Palette

This is one of the palettes I really admire because of the color payoff and the wide range of shades.  Most of the colors you need for any look, right?  What more do I have to say?

4.      Best for Traveling – NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette The Runaway Collection Champagne & Caviar and NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow Palette For Your Eyes Only Smokey Eyes

Travelling for me is easy to pack and convenient to bring at the same time.  The palettes for me are the best for day or night look.  It’s very compact, the color range can be day look to night look since most of the shade are browns, grey and black which for me very basic colors and safest to pair it to any of your clothes. In short, it can create numerous looks in just one palette.  One advice, always wear eye primer and cream eyeshadow under for better color payoff.

5.     Biggest Regret – Prestige Cosmetics Color-At-A Glance Eye Shadow Palette

I just bought this since it was on sale that time, no advance reading for reviews or anything.  Since then I haven’t touched it as you can see there's still plastic.  I’m thinking right now to check the quality, who knows it might be in my 2014 favorites?

6.     Best Color Names – Urban Decay Naked

I really fell in love with this palette! I enjoyed the colors and I really got amused with all of my Urban Decay palettes collection since every color has its own name.  Most of the Philippine Cosmetic brands don't have any shade names only the whole palette that is why I was so charmed with Urban Decay.

7.     Least Used – Smashbox Muse Artist Eye Palette

I purchased this online and at first I was so in love with the packaging, the colors are not that hard to pull off.  I don't know why I have not used this as much as I wanted to buy it.  The eyeshadows are not that pigmented, for the work around of course we just need an eye primer as well.  I will try again this year to use it and let's see if this will not be the leased use again for 2014.

8.     Most Used, Most Loved and Desert Island – Victoria Secret Make Me Dazzle Makeup Kit

I fell in love with this palette last Christmas, it was given by my brother as birthday present.  All you need in one palette, so much eyeshadow shades to choose from, blushes and lip colors.  What more can I ask for?  I will definitely try and check out the product, I've been thinking if I will have a separate review just let me know if there is anyone interested.

There you have it, my perfect palette tag for 2013. I hope you enjoyed reading until next blog.

Thank you and see you soon. 
