Face Review: Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

Hello everyone!

I’m back  for another product review for 2015, this product is a gift last birthday and back in 2014 I really would like to purchase this to try if this is really effective as a face primer to control oil specially on my t-zone.  Of course since I’m on a tight budget I was not spending too much make up then and one of my girl-friends bought me this as a birthday present!  How sweet right?  I tried it for over a month and here’s my assessment on my product.

PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Brand:  Maybelline
Name:  Baby Skin Pore Eraser
Net Wt:   22 ml
Price:  Php299
Where to Buy:  All leading Department Store

The box packaging of the product is adorable with the pink text.  It has a flip at the back that has product descriptions and instructions on how to use it.

The container of the product is very sleek and have a cap that you have to twist to open it.  It has a small nozzle to squeeze a small pea size and it is very hygienic since you have to use your finger to get a small pea size of the product.  I just use so little since I just put it on my t-zone since I have a combination skin, not so oily just need to control a little.

It is a translucent gel and has no smell.  When you put it on the face it is very smooth and lightweight.  After putting this over my favorite moisturizing lotion I really see it makes my skin healthy and making my face look younger as well.

What I like with this product, one of the first primer here in the Philippines that is very affordable and available in all department stores.  The packaging is very handy, I can stash it together with my make up bag.  Making my skin smooth and it does not break me out. Light on my skin and it also controls a little on my oil in my t-zone area.  I just put powder over it and it gives me a flawless skin that this is a good alternative if I want to interchange my face routine.

Overall,  I really like the product and will definitely purchase again if I ran out.  I am very lucky to try this product for free! (Since it is a birthday gift).

Have you tried it?  Let me know your thoughts.

Thank you for stopping by my blog.  Til next time.

XOXO

What is in my Make Up Bag?

Hello everybody!

It is already 2015 and I feel that it is the right time to share my updated make up bag.  My previous make up bag was huge and now I need to limit since my everyday bag is medium size.  This is the one I carry inside my bag now.

I got this from my eldest daughter the yellow pouch since we have lots of pouches lying around the house and I felt it will be much practical to use it.  The zipper is still okay and the size is just perfect very handy for me.  I only have few items inside, so here it is!

I only have three (3) face products inside just to fit in a small pouch:

1.  Maybelline Clear Smooth All in One Shine Free Cake Powder in Natural
2.  Jordana Blush Powder in Tawny Beige
3.  ELF All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade
4.  Suesh Retractable Blush Brush

Yes, I'm using small powder for touch ups specially during outside.  I have my huge powder in the office and at home.  This one is my life saver if getting oily.  Most of the time I just use my ELF all over color stick but if I want more blush in my cheeks I put on top of it with my trustful blush brush.

For my eye products, here are the items:

1.  The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Crayon Eyeliner in Purple
2.  Maybelline New York Vivid & Smooth Liner by Eyestudio in Brown
3.  Nichido Eye Pencil in Brown Black
4.  Maybelline The One by One Volum' Express Mascara in Black
5.  La Cross Eyelash Curler

I don't know why I have lots of eyeliner but I really enjoy putting eyeliner in my waterline.  It gives more depth in my eye, making it bold but on the natural way.  I love using my eyelash curler everyday making my eyes more awake and bigger as well.  Mascara, I haven't use that much lately but I want to be more consistent with this for 2015!

Lastly my lip products, this is really hard for me to choose a handful to be in my make up bag but I guess I have to be more selective specially on the shades:

1.  Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Mixed Berry
2.  Essence Lip Liner in Wish Me a Rose
3.  Essence Lip Liner in In the Nude
4.  Victoria Secret Shine Lip Gloss in Rosy Darling
5.  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Adore
6.  Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Off Beat Pink
7.  Maybelline Color Sensation in Peachy Scene

For the 2nd half of 2014, I really enjoy using only my lip liners as my lip color.  There are times specially during weekends that I don't use full face make up I just put my ever reliable Revlon Balm Stain and bam! Looking good on it.

There you have it, my new make up bag and I don't remember when I changed my set of make up.  Don't worry the next time I want to change up again I will post it immediately.

How about you?  Any changes done with your make up bag?  Bigger? Or smaller just what I did?  Share it, I enjoy seeing other's make up bag too!

Until next time.  XOXO

Christmas/Birthday Gift Haul

Happy New Year!

My post for today I will show you the goodies that I got last Christmas 2014 and my simple gift I got from my girlfriends.  I am lucky for my friends gave me these gifts and I wanted to say a BIG thank you!

1. Bath & Body Works – Sexy Dahlia Rush

This one gave by my Princess Doll, I was so surprised giving a huge body spray.  I know this is expensive and I felt so loved by my girlfriends.  I’m excited to use this one but I am still advocate of my 2 years project hit pan so this one will go first in my stocks of supplies in my cabinet.

2. Victoria’s Secret – Pure Seduction

Wow! Another one! I had one of this before I like the smell of it and so thrilled to get it as a gift.  This one gave by my previous boss, her really knows how to make me happy. Yep, another build up on my storage.

3. Mark & Spencer – China Blue Floral Collection

Another bath cream to the stock!  I’m not fund of using this but I am still happy since I love to explore new things and I will write this one to my books.  This one is also given by my previous colleague at work.  My previous colleagues knows me very well, almost the gifts are beauty related and they are my family spend my 9 years with them.  I missed them so much and excited to schedule another get together with them.

4.  Etude House – Lucidarling Over the Rainblusher

One of my girlfriends at my previous work, giving me a cute gift – blush!  The packaging of Etude House is the cutest.  I am excited to use this but until I finish up my current blush I can’t touch them first.  I know, saddest but I want to be consistent on my project hit pan (again!).

5.  Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Silk Cake Powder – Natural

This gift was given by Foxy Doll, this product is on my “to try list” since I have second thoughts to buy this because the packaging is not reusable.  My current powder I can buy refill with a cheaper price and the packaging I can reuse it.  Happy to have this at least I can try and give my first impression, I have high expectation on this.

6.  The Face Shop Fruit Jelly Tube - PP402, PK102,RD302

Another wow!  A very special gift from DDG Doll, not just the lip gloss but the animal print pouch as well.  I have not tried this and excited to use this as well.  This one can go to my lips review, don’t you think?

7.  Beauticology Raspberry Cream Macaroon Body Wash and Body Butter

This one has a very cute packaging and small containers.  This one gift from one of my previous girlfriends as well on my previous work and I want to try this since the scent is very tempting.  I haven’t smelled this but my perception is sweet and I want to eat.

8.  The Body Shop Olive Set – Shower Gel, Cream Body Scrub and Body Butter

One of my favorite gift, it is a set and with a free body scrubber! Came from my closest girlfriend in my current work, she is one of the sweetest friend.  I am very lucky they are keen observant since this one I shared to her that I like on a random walk with her and here!  The set is so gorgeous and I want to use it as in now.

9.  Elizabeth Arden High Shine Lip Gloss – Sparking Ruby

This is one of the expensive gifts I received for Christmas from my previous boss also.  Last Christmas I got lot of lip glosses and last 2014 I only used lip liner or mostly matte lipsticks but I guess I have to try again new things.  I have lots of ideas now for reviews right?

10.  Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

One of my birthday gifts from my girlfriends at work.  Right now, I am using it and one of my routine in the mornings.  I will give my review on this on the coming months, I just want to try and test it longer days to have a very good review.

11.  Canmake Powder Cheeks – PW05

I think this is my first Canmake ever!  This product is so small but excited to use this and check what will be my impression with their blush.  This is together with the pore eraser my birthday gift.

That’s that, my beauty gifts for my 2014 Christmas.  It is not that much but still happy to have it since they are given and for free!  Do you want me to review one of these products?  Just let me know, comment below.

What did you got for Christmas?  I love to hear it from you guys, share it!

Thank you for reading.  Til next time.

November-December Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone, Happy New Year!

It’s already 2015 and time again to share what I have been using and loving these past months (November and December).  I only have a few items to share since I’m not in the mood to wear more make up since I just go to the office most of the time and just home cleaning.  But of course its Christmas season busy checking my list and even busy wrapping gifts.

I only have 4 products to share, everyday uses are:

1. Essence Lip Liners in Wish Me a Rose and In the Nude (Php89)

I have been using these for a months now and not putting any lipsticks just a lip liner.  I just observed that the product is very soft that you need a light hand to sweep in your lips, he color and pigmented and a bit long lasting.  I love the color shade of it.  If I want to have pink I am going to use the Wish Me a Rose and if I just want to look natural I’m going for the In the Nude.  You will never go wrong!

2.  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Adore (Php575)

This is my to go lipstick if I don’t have any make up on my face at all.  I believe you just need a color in the lips and you are good to go.  Every weekend I just have errands to make and I don’t need to spend so much time to put make up.  Just sweep this and you are good to go!

3.  Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Mixed Berry (Php79)

Another lip product as my favorite, yes!  This is one of the can’t live without products that I really need every single day.  It gives moisturizing lips before putting any lip color, both working with lip liner or lip color.  Definitely good product, highly recommended of course!

4.  ELF All Over Color Stick in Pink Lemonade

My blush for last months, this just gives me the right color with a hint to shine on my face.  Blush really gives color to your face, you will never look pale or empty canvass with a little tint on your cheeks.

5.  Nichido Eyeliner in Black Brown

One of my beauty favorites for my eyes, I'm not into eyeshadow this 2014 but tight lining my eyes to be more bold and to have more attractive eyes.  I have more in-depth review of this product on my previous blog.

There you have it my November-December monthly favorites. Next blog will be my What did I got for Christmas and you will be delighted!  ‘Coz I did! *super excited*

Let me know if you have any suggestions or products you want to endorse, I will gladly to try it out and let you know my personal insights.  I will try my best to blog at least twice a month and sorry if I have not host any giveaway but I am still collecting for you guys.

Thank you for time to read and hope you’ll be back next blog!
