Lip Review: Celeteque Sun Care Soothing Lip Balm

Hello there!

This is my first time to review a product and it caught my attention what I have lying around my make up table is the Celeteque Sun Care Soothing Lip Balm.  I got this product when I attended the Cosmopolitan Philippines Dinner to avid readers last year.  I'll be reviewing the product based on my own personal experience with it.

Product Information:
Brand - Celeteque (from Unilab)
Name of the Product - Sun Care Soothing Lip Balm
Net Weight - 8 grams
Price - Php 190
Where to Buy - In all leading beauty stores nationwide

The container of the product is a hard white plastic with sticker label.  To open the product you have to twist it counter clockwise.  I use my pint/middle finger to get the product and spread it on my lips evenly.  Most of the time I use this during night time, I need a lip balm before going to sleep since our skin rejuvenate that time and it will be helpful to be smooth lips the next day.

It has a mild minty cool feeling when you put in your lips.  I can also say it gives a feeling moisturized lips, the texture of the product is smooth while applying and no color tint effect in your lips.  I recommend this to use also during daytime since it has SPF15 and will protect from the sun.  Just retouch approximately every 4 hours or apply as you need it.

The condition of my lips is really dry that is why it is important for me to put first lip balm before using any lip products such as lipstick, lip tint or even lip pencil.  It is easier to use the lip products mentioned when you put this first in your lips and it also makes the color lip product natural looking, not chapping or giving uneven color.

I will definitely repurchase this product since it gives healthy lips.  Thank you for reading.  Let me know if you have products in mind you want me to review.  I am hoping to interact with my readers.

Next week will be my February monthly favorites so stay tuned on my blog.

My Everyday Go-to Lipsticks

Hello everyone!

These past few months I have been changing up lipsticks and I have decided to share with you my go-to lipsticks on an everyday use.  I have four colors that I think I go back and forth, I don't know why but I think it depends where I am going and who I am going with.  I'll also include my review on each product as well to be more helpful for you guys.

Caution:  Please excuse my icky hand photos here.  :p

1. The Face Shop My Lips Eat Cherry Aqua Tint in Juicy Red

This is my office everyday use; early in the morning before going to work I put lip balm first before this.  Since we are not allowed to put too much make up at the workplace that is why I chose this, its only a stain balm effect and its long wearing by just drinking water in between (just don't eat it will wear off easily too!).  It makes it very natural looking for me.

The price of this product is only Php295, very affordable for its brand.  I like this product that this is my 2nd repurchase and I still love it.  The packaging is sturdy and very handy, travel friendly I can just stick it on my purse.  The applicator has a soft bristles and I already mastered the technique on how to apply it.

2.  Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Off Beat Pink

I use this when I go out with my siblings like my sisters or strolling around the mall on a Saturday afternoon.  The shade is a baby pink matte; it makes me look younger for my age.

The packaging is also sturdy but the shade in the cap falls off (this is true to all of my Ever Bilena Matte Lipsticks I purchased) that is why I put tape on it.  The container of the lipstick is black and silver, print is not good and mine has no more label already.  The price is very affordable, Php155 only!  Can you believe it? So am I.  But I believe Ever Bilena increased its price for this, I have to check it again and purchase more? What you think?

3.  Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Adore

I just realized I use this often if I want to achieve the mother look, when I go to school of my kids, going out with them like grocery errands or dinner quality time with my family.  Mother look for me is older looking but still hip and fashionable.

I was so lucky last year I bought this on a buy 1 take 1 with the price of Php575!  It was just a perfect timing for me, having 2 lipsticks for the regular price of one.  This product is pigmented and it's very moisturizing to your lips giving a minty feeling.  It has a peppermint smell and it doesn't bother me at all.  This is also long wearing and this is amazing even you ate already the color is still there not leaving only the outline of your lips.  This is highly recommeded!

4.  Wet n Wild Mega Last Lipcolor in Wine Room

Wearing this mostly on night out with my husband or friends, if I want to feel on the go!  The color payoff is great; It is very much opaque and highly pigmented as well.  The lipstick is creamy and I enjoyed putting them on.

The container of the lipstick is horrible, as you can see in the photo the cap is pretty messy and the cap is also loose.  The price is kinda expensive if you buy this in the department store, Php299.  You can try to purchase online it will have lower price.  The lipstick is not drying and I love the shade on my lips and it goes well with my skin tone, not too loud but still looking incredible!

There you have it, my to-go to lipsticks.  I love matte as you can see, it makes me bold and right for my age as of the moment.

Let me know what are your to-go to lipsticks, I will go through it!  You might suggest something that I want to try.

Thank you again for stopping by.

See you next time!

My Favorite Daily Skin Care Routine

Hello Everyone!

This is one of the hardest weeks since I have lots of thoughts in my list but my stuff is not yet ready. This year, I felt my skin was so dry and getting old in the photos and I just realized that I have to take care my skin more by rubbing oils and lotion after taking a bath. I have this brilliant idea to share with you my skin care routine. Aside from sharing my routine, I will also show what the products I have been using.

1. Johnson’s Baby Oil

In the morning, after taking a bath before wiping dry I apply first the Johnson’s baby oil.  While applying this while wet, it’s like giving my skin glow and giving smooth skin.  I’m not fond of the smell though but I’m not that sensitive with the fragrance.  This routine was advise to me by my high school friend and I was just so lazy to do it religiously but this year I’m trying my best to sustain this routine.     2.  Johnson's Body Care in Cocoa and Shea Butter Lotion

I also use this in the morning, after drying myself with my bath towel before getting dress I apply this lotion to moisturize my skin and smell good before going to work.  I so loving the cocoa and shea butter combined.  It nourishes my skin and giving my positive radiant glow.

3.     Skin White Naturals Whitening Lotion in Papaya Milk

I use this at night time before getting to bed. After my night bath and wiping myself dry, I apply this lotion. I got so surprise using this since I fell in love with the smell! The fragrance is like candy smell and I love putting to myself every time. I will definitely repurchase this one and in case my Johnson’s lotion is empty most probably I’m going to use this also in the morning routine since it has SPF 10.

That’s it! Do you have anything to share that I can also include in my daily skin care routine? Let me know what your skin routine is.

Thank you once again for passing by my blog.

See you again next week!

January Beauty Favorites

Hello!

Time flies and it’s already February month of hearts. I have so much mixed emotions during this time and I hope this will be a memorable one (crossed-fingers xx). Going back for my January Beauty Favorites, I have a little stuff here and there since I’m still into my Project Hit Pan (Check out my previous blog on this!).

Here’s my favorite list:

1. St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub and Garnier Multi-Action Scrub

I use St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub 1-2 times a week if I feel my skin needs to exfoliate at night I have this belief that the skin rejuvenate at night time and it will be the best time to use this scrub to help out to remove the dead skin or uneven skin.

As for the Garnier Multi-Action Scrub, this is my holy grail for skin care for months now. I think this is my 4-5 times I purchased the same product since I feel this is very much effective preventing pimples in my skin. I use this every day, day and night.

If your skin is not that sensitive as mine, you check these products and let me know what you think.

2. Victoria Secret Fragrance Mist in Simply Breathless

This is a gift from my daughter and I really fell in love with this scent. It has this cotton-candy smell that I really like. Right now this is my to-go-to perfume every day to office.

3. Pond’s Flawless White BB Cream in Light

I really want to stick to the same products and for last month the weather here in the Philippines is so cold and I really have to use BB Cream first before foundation powder. This product really hides the imperfections of your skin and it gives you light to medium coverage only. Perfect for me since most of the time I'm just inside the office. The price is very much reasonable, very much available even in the grocery you can grab this.

4. Revlon Powder Blush in Softspoken Pink

This product is included in my Project Hit Pan and this is one of the blushes I like using every day since it looks like normal flush in my cheeks. It gives me a natural glow.

5. The Face Shop Lovely Me:ex Crayon Eyeliner in Purple

I love using this eyeliner because I love the color; it gives your eyes this sparkle! Easy to use and it stay all day long, it has super long lasting power. The only downside is its hard to remove, but hey! It will give you a natural eye sparkle the next day.

6. The Face Shop My Lips Eat Cherry Aqua Tint in Juicy Red

This is my to go natural look, this just gives you a hint of lip color. It also gives you a long lasting color. I’m a type that I really don’t like to retouch every hour of the day since I’m very much busy at the office and my time to check myself up is during lunch break or bio break. My tip to have a better result is to use lip balm first.

And that’s that! Thank you once again for your time and effort!

See you soon on my next blog.
