Face Review: Maybelline Super Mineral 24 Healthy Long Lasting Two-Way Foundation

I have done lip and blush review, it is time for the face foundation to shine!  I have been using this product as long as I can remember.  It's the Maybelline Super Mineral 24 Healthy Long Lasting Two-Way Foundation, I will post the old packaging for comparison.  I'll review the product based on my own experience and I also bought the products mentioned.

As you can see, the packaging is very different from the previous look.  The new one has a metallic on the sides and the container is on the pink side which I believe it's more chic looking.  I am just hoping that the compact has a better packaging since I had an experience with the old one locking mechanism easily got broken.  My shade is OC1, my skin is acidic that is why I have one (1) shade lighter than my real skin tone.

As for the price, it is pretty over my budget limit but since it gives a good coverage on my skin this is one of the products I can spill over and besides I have light hands and this product can last for more than 6 months.  Amazed?  Yes, I have before a powder that I labelled the date so that I can monitor my usage per product and this one I can go as long as 9 months.  That is why I can spend so much for this.

Good tip, everytime I will see sale on Maybelline products I purchase the refill as stock since I don't have any idea when they are going to be on sale again and you can purchase it on a discounted price.  That is one of my techniques to save a little for my addiction.

I apply this over my BB cream every morning, I retouch after lunch especially on my t-zone removing the oily on my face.  This is my everyday powder, I can't get out of the house without putting this powder on my face.  I love the finish on my face, it covers all my imperfections in my skin and giving it a smooth feeling and it also has SPF30 to protect your face on the sun rays.

Surely I will repurchase this one, I'm also looking for a better alternative that is not expensive.  I'm thinking also within the Maybelline family of course.  For me, this brand I have tried and tested over the years and never failed me to feel beautiful.
